USA Scout Carolinas: New Communication & Chain of Command Policy
USA Scout Carolinas is committed to providing a transparent, efficient, and respectful environment for our athletes and their families. To ensure all feedback and concerns are addressed by those closest to the situation, we have implemented a formal Chain of Command and Communication Policy.
Effective immediately, we ask all parents and guardians to follow this structured process for any team or coach-related inquiries:
Step 1: Contact the Head Coach All initial complaints or concerns regarding team dynamics, playing time, or coaching decisions must be submitted via email directly to the Head Coach. This ensures a written record and allows the coach to provide a thoughtful response. Per our new policy, Head Coaches are required to respond to your inquiry within 24 hours.
Step 2: Escalation to Regional Directors In the event a Head Coach does not respond within the 24-hour deadline, or if the initial resolution is not satisfactory, the matter may be escalated to the USA Scout Carolinas Regional Directors.
Step 3: National Office Review Should a concern remain unresolved after working with our Regional Directors, the final step is to contact the National Office via their website at usascoutbaseball.com.

The 24-Hour Rule: We recommend waiting 24 hours after a game or event before sending a complaint email to ensure communication remains objective and focused on athlete development.
Professionalism: Please ensure all correspondence is professional and constructive.
Localized Resolution: Our policy follows the philosophy that the best solutions are reached locally. The National Office will typically defer back to regional leadership unless all prior steps in the chain of command have been exhausted.
